April 19, 2018 ULS Administration contracts with trauma specialist Dr. Christine Kennedy to meet with students in April and May.

Dr. Christine Kennedy

Dr. Kennedy is an assistant professor in the Community and Trauma Counseling Program at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Kennedy is also a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania and an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. She has extensive experience working with diverse communities around issues of trauma, cultural literacy and conflict resolution. Dr. Kennedy’s role is to engage stakeholders in identifying core issues at ULS and supporting the development of a collaborative plan of action among the stakeholders and leadership to address the identified problems.
